What we are doing to reduce our ecological foot print?

  • Consumption of all products is minimized.
  • Non-confidential printed paper is re-used for printing, note pads etc.
  • The agency minimizes the use of disposable materials such as cups; cutlery; dishes; etc. by the maintenance of a re-usable set of the above, and encouragement of staff and volunteers to bring a re-usable coffee cup to work, meetings etc.
  • Products are purchased with minimal or recyclable packaging
  • Local products are purchased as much as possible.
  • Electronic resources are turned off when not in use, and at the end of the workday.
  • Batteries; paper; packaging etc. are deposited into recycling containers.
  • All staff and volunteers minimize the amount of non-recyclable materials brought to the TBAVS work place and take responsibility of such materials.
  • Printing and ink use are kept to a minimum. That use of bolded font and colour ink minimized.
  • As much as possible, photo-copying is completed two-sided.
  • Staff car-pool to meetings.
  • Staff cycle to work where possible.
